choir potluck and updates

Hey TP Choristers!

Our sincerest apologies for not updating our blog, school's been hectic! Still, it's no excuse to neglect this space, so here's an update (:

#1. Choir Potluck

If you don't love eating, you (are really, really weird) would have felt uncomfortable at our choir potluck! (By the way, does anyone know the origin of the word potluck? I don't, but who ever who thought of it is a genius.)

We finally had our VERY FIRST POTLUCK after the recruitment of new members.

(Have always wondered what it was like to jump into a huge tub full of sweet drinks, I think it'll be a little like heaven.)

Hello again. 

After the above, I got hungry and went to get food, thus the break in writing. :O

How has choir been so far? We've been learning new songs of different languages and honestly, the new members are incredibly fast in catching the songs! I also see how members who have learnt the songs before help the rest who hasn't, and from my point of view, it's extremely heartwarming. With the furrowed looks of concentration and singing in groups even after practice - it shows how dedicated you are in song, keep up the great work guys (and girls)! :D 

#2. Anyway.  

ARE YOU EGGCITED FOR OUR UPCOMING MINI-CONCERT????????? 

I am. (: It's on the 20th of August (date to be re-confirmed), remember to invite your friends along! It's going to be a night of fun, singing, laughing, eating, drinking (water only eh I KNOW HOW POLY STUDENTS THINK), changing, running around in pretty costumes, borrowing makeup, pictures...... yeah you get the gist.

Also, here's the tentative timeline for this year's choir events (actual dates to be confirmed):

August 2010: Mini Concert 1

November 2010: Mini Concert 2

December 2010/February 2011: Training Camp for Major Concert

January/February/March 2011: MAJOR CONCERT
